Great News! The Greg Weemhoff Geauga County CROP Hunger Walk takes place on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Mountain Run Station on Chardon-Windsor Rd. We want you to be a part of this critical mission to end world hunger and promote peace and justice.
You can help make a difference in local AND global hunger by walking in our CROP Hunger Walk this month. We want you to be a Walker. If you cannot walk, please sponsor a Walker. Our fundraising goal is an energetic $1500.00. We know, with your help, we can meet our goal.
Here’s how you can be a part of this great event:
Join our Team – TEAM Chardon UMC. Go to https://events.crophungerwalk.org/2023/event/burtonoh and join our TEAM as a Walker. Donations can be made on the website or provided to a Walker as cash or check. As a Walker, to accept cash or check donations, use the Walker Donation Envelope and Donor Tracking Form. Collect donations before the September 24 CROP Hunger Walk and bring them with you to the Walk.
Individual Donors – If you cannot support a walker, go to https://events.crophungerwalk.org/2023/event/burtonoh to donate directly.
Create a Team – While we prefer that you participate with us on TEAM Chardon UMC, you can also create your own team on the website.
Come see your Team Chardon UMC CROP Hunger Walk exhibit at the Ministry and Mission Fair this Sunday morning, September 10, 2023, after the Traditional Worship Service and after the STRUCK Worship Service in the Atrium and surrounding areas.
