Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”

At Chardon Church, we believe that our children are gifts from God to be treasured and nurtured.  They are indeed the future of the church!  We seek to minister to the needs of children and their families with classes and activities that build faith, promote fellowship and create a sense of responsibility for mission in God’s name.  We offer educational programs that engage age group with activities that allow them to grow in their faith.

You may be a middle-school student making the transition to high school, or you may be a high-school student looking to make new friends. Sometimes, even if you have been in a church for a while, it can be difficult to start participating in a church youth group.  But you will find that it’s a laid-back time to relax and get to know one another.

Participate in a church youth group by being yourself.  Resist the urge to copy anyone else’s personality.  Relax and know that it is not wise to compare yourself with anyone else.  Even the most popular and talented kids in the church youth group have their faults.  Come, be yourself, and have fun in fellowship with God.

Regular meeting times

Youth Group: Sundays 6:30-8PM
Confirmation Class: Sundays 6:30-8PM

We are building on the idea that our faith journey changes and grows due to relationships

  • our relationship with God and Jesus,
  • our relationship with mentors, and
  • our relationship with each other.

Annual Mission Trip

Chardon Church has been participating in Appalachia Service Projects for almost 40 years.  Each year, we take a group of youth to this area of the country to help those that need home repair.  These trips are life-changing for our youth, and help them to grow in their faith and become stronger disciples of Jesus Christ.
